  2. I know, Heide...was just thinking that I was overdue. I'll get some on here over the next few days. I figure an every 20lb loss photo would be good.

  3. By my count - if you go back to your highest weight you lost 45 lbs...that is the best. Keep it up...

  6. The initial decision to join was very, very hard on me, but once I signed up, and went to class, everyone was helpful and respectful. No ridiculing (none that I know of anyway). It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. You won't regret it. You just need to have the courage to make the choice to do it!

  8. Thank you so much for posting your BJJ weight loss journey, it has inspired me to overcome my fears of joining a BJJ club and I have now begun my own journey. Its not easy, but its worth it and I can already see results. I am definitely the most overweight person in my class and I have yet to complete an entire class but everyone is supportive and I don't feel embarrassed by sitting on the sideline and catching my breath, I just think to myself "at least I'm here!" I have 40kgs to lose (not sure what that is in pounds, its the metric system here is Australia) and I am slowly making progress. I want to be fit and healthy for my kids and I wanted to thank you for inspiring me to get off the couch and get into action!

  9. Trent- you don't know how much that means to me. Just awesome. The successes are as high as the struggles are low, but it's all worth it. I've lost about 70lbs now in almost two years of BJJ training (Feb will be two years). Not as quick as I want, but my body has changed tremendously, along with my flexibility.

Keep it up! Would love to talk to you via email if you ever want to talk big guy to big guy. Just click on my contact info.

    Keep it up, Trent! Brilliant!
